Grey Wood Wall Panels

Keep it calm and contemporary with gray wood wall panels. Soft, neutral and easy to live with, they add quiet texture to a wall and slip into any modern palette. A relaxed, modern look that also tames the echo.

Gray wood wall panels for a calm, modern room

Gray is the quiet all-rounder. It is neutral enough to sit with almost any color scheme, yet it still adds real texture and interest to a wall. From soft, light grays to deeper stone tones, a gray slat wall feels relaxed and current. It works beautifully in living rooms, bedrooms, and offices where you want a modern backdrop that never competes with the furniture.

Choose between real wood veneer and Colored finishes

To match your exact styling needs, this collection brings gray finishes together from across our ranges. If you want genuine texture, our Natural Wood panels use handpicked real gray oak veneer, meaning no two slats are exactly alike. For a smooth, uniform appearance with no natural variations, our Colored panels feature a high-quality foiled surface or HPL laminate in cooler stone tones.

A neutral wall with a quieter sound

Gray keeps a room feeling calm, and the panels keep it sounding calm too. Behind every slat sits an Acoustic felt made of 50% recycled plastic (PET), which catches sound waves and breaks them up to reduce echo. Installed correctly, with battens and mineral wool behind the panels, gray Akupanels reach Class A sound absorption. A soft look with a soft sound to match.

Tailor it with Create accessories

A gray wall is a versatile base, and WoodUpp Create helps you make it practical. The accessories fit neatly between the slats, so you can add function while keeping the clean, understated lines. It is a simple way to complete the space and make a calm, modern wall feel entirely your own.

Easy to install at home

Fitting gray Akupanels is a friendly DIY job. Cut each panel to size with a fine-tooth saw and a utility knife, then fix it to the wall with screws or glue. A standard panel measures 240 x 60 cm (94 1/2 x 23 5/8 inches) and is 22 mm (7/8 inch) thick, making it easy to plan your coverage. A fresh gray feature wall is a comfortable weekend job.

Danish design and low-effort care

WoodUpp is a Scandinavian design brand, and our panels are made in our own facilities in Denmark and in Mount Airy, USA. Gray surfaces are easy to keep looking good. Dust with a soft brush, vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment, or wipe with a hard-wrung cloth. There is no oil to apply, ensuring your calm, modern wall lasts for years with minimal effort.
