We designed this shelf to give your panels more purpose. It’s strong, functional, and made to hold books, decor, and everyday essentials—right where you need them.

The package contains:
1 shelf
2 or 3 brackets (depending on the chosen shelf size)
2 or 3 thumbscrews (depending on the chosen shelf size)
1 hex key
Our brackets, which are included when you purchase our accessories and can be mounted onto our panels using these brackets, are patented in Denmark (Danish patent DK 181795 B1) and have “Patent Pending” status in other countries (international patent application WO 2024255982 A1).
Material
The shelves are made from 2 mm thick galvanized steel and subsequently powder-coated for a very durable and sleek finish. The thumb screws are turned from solid, untreated brass and can therefore develop a light patina over time. The brackets are cast in zinc, ensuring a strong foundation for mounting.
Necessary thumb screws, brackets, and a mounting key are included with all shelves, so you don’t need any other tools to install your products.
Maintenance
Use a clean cloth, either dry or ad water. Do not use any cleaning agent.

Step 1: Position the brackets
- For the 759 mm shelf, start by attaching the middle bracket to ensure stability.
- Use a bubble level to align the brackets horizontally.
- Insert the brackets into the desired slats of your Akupanel.
Step 2: Secure the brackets
- Tighten the finger screws using the provided Hex key to lock the brackets in place.
Step 3: Mount the shelf
- Place the shelf onto the secured brackets.
- Ensure it sits flush and is level.
Step 4: Final check
Confirm the shelf is securely mounted and level before placing items on it.

The weight depends on the metal sizes and if the acoustic panel is mounted vertical or horizontal.
Acoustic panels – vertical mounted:
35.9 cm – 5 kg
51.9 cm – 15 kg
75.9 cm – 25 kg
Acoustic panels – horizontal mounted:
All sized max. 5 kg.
