Let’s go!

1 – HEADBOARDS

When it comes to acoustical panels, this simple project is at the top of my list.

At the time of writing this, it is very popular.

This is probably one of the easiest DIY projects you will ever do.

The 3 steps
  1.     Get an acoustical panel in a colour you love.
  2.   Screw the panel onto the wall using black screws
  3.     Slide your bed back in place and enjoy the transformation.

How easy was that?

You won’t find an easier DIY project!

And the best part is,

then you can put up akupanels.

Amazing, right?

Our customers have produces some amazing creative projects.

Absolutely amazing!

So, what’s next on our project list?

2 – A KEY HANGER

How simple and brilliant is this as seen in the picture?

You don’t even need a whole panel for this project. Just use the leftovers from a prior project or you can even make use of our colour sample for this project.

Very little is needed as I mentioned before. Just grab some key “hooks” from your local hardware store.

This is a fun and easy project.

3 - A RADIATOR COVER

Can you really use acoustical panels as radiator covers?

You are unable to see the radiator in this image.

That’s because it is covered so well.

… under the akupanels.

In short, the answer is yes. Simple and brilliant! Just keep in mind that you will need to cut holes in the lamellas for air circulation purposes. Even though it isn’t shown in this image, I recommend that you do it.

You can try it without the holes but if that doesn’t work, it is easy to cut the holes after.

What’s our next project?

4 – A kitchen desk decoration

You can do this, it is very simple.

You only need two panels max to add some spice to your kitchen. This project gives your kitchen that stylish and exclusive look you’ve always wanted.

Cut the panels to the size you want and use black screws to mount them. Done!

Wasn’t that easy?

5 – A comfortable cozy corner

This is self-explanatory.

You don’t have to fully cover the entire wall with acoustic panels to get the full effect. In some cases, less is more.

Onto the next project.

6 – An alcove

I’ve been excited to share this project with you.

We got tons of positive comments when we posted this picture on Instagram. There is no doubt that it is a very popular DIY project.

For those that have alcoves in their home, you have to try this project.

Increase the coziness of the room with just a few acoustic panels.

7 – A simple acoustic wall

It only takes a few panels to dramatically change a wall’s appearance. As I mentioned before, it only takes a few panels to make a huge change.

Covering the entire wall isn’t necessary.

In the examples I have chosen, you only need two panels maximum.

Isn’t the detail on the mirror amazing?

The mirror brings together the slatwall and the painted wall in a unique and beautiful way.

If you have a mirror similar to this, you should definitely try this project.

This one has some amazing details.

Take your room to a whole new level with these two panels. The detail is simple but it makes a huge difference.

Simply brilliant in my opinion!

Yet again, very beautiful using a simple solution.

If you have leftover panes from another project, use them for this.

8 – A “door frame”

Is there a door in your hallway?

Make this beautiful door frame for it. This gives your door a more exclusive look.

I’m sure you will agree that this is a lovely detail.

9 – Upgrade your entrance quickly

Entrances usually have limited space and in most cases, panels won’t be needed to enhance this area.

However, using a single acoustic panel dramatically improves the entrance area and will make a great first impression on your guests.

And we all know how important first impressions are.

This is all you have to do.

A before picture of this space would have made the transformation even more dramatic. However, you can see a dramatic improvement.

Now we move to our final project.

10 – Decor for furniture and closets

I will share a number of solutions with this project.

How about adding a new look over old furniture?

Of course, there is a missing side, but you get the idea.

Another solution is to create amazing wall coverings to complement your existing furniture.

In most cases, there is a white wall between the closets, but when you add this solution, it makes a huge difference.

Take a look.

This is definitely one of my favorite two-panel projects. This is why I saved the best for last.

Did you find inspiration from these simple DIY projects? I hope you did.

Keep in mind that you only need a single panel or two to completely transform your space.

It is always a good idea to start off with these smaller projects before taking on bigger DIY projects. You will learn useful skills that you can apply to the bigger projects.

Thanks for taking the time to read this article. Happy DIYing!
